Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Start the Green Beans

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Place green beans and 1 tsp. olive oil in provided tray. Massage oil into green beans and spread into an even layer. Cover tray with foil.

    Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    While green beans bake, continue recipe.

    Add the Chicken

    In a mixing bowl, combine softened goat cheese, softened creme fraiche, and 2 tsp. water. Set aside.

    Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with half the garlic pepper (reserve remaining for green beans) and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid. Stir in 1/4 tsp. salt and push green beans to one side. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Place chicken in now-empty side of tray and evenly top with goat cheese mixture. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 20-25 minutes.

    While meal bakes, coarsely crush almonds.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid.

    Stir softened butter, onion jam, and remaining garlic pepper into green beans until combined.

    To serve, top chicken with crushed almonds. Bon appétit!
