Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry.
Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Tomatoes
Coarsely chop tomatoes.

Toast Rolls and Cook Patties
Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add rolls to hot, dry pan, cut-side down, and toast until lightly browned, 3-5 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat.Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until lightly charred and patties reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Remove from burner. Top patties with cheese. Cover and let melt, 1-2 minutes.While patties cook, continue recipe. -
Make the Candied Bacon
Place a small non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add bacon to hot, dry pan. Stir often until browned, 2-3 minutes.Add brown sugar and 2 tsp. water. Stir often until water is almost entirely evaporated, 2-3 minutes.Hot bacon alert! Keep an eye on pan as bacon may burn easily.Remove from burner and transfer bacon to another plate. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom roll with mayonnaise, tomatoes, patty, candied bacon, and top roll. Bon appétit!
