Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground beef, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

Prepare Green Beans and Form Meatloaves
Trim green beans, if necessary.
Coarsely crush crackers.In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, crushed crackers, garlic salt, a pinch of pepper, and half the mayonnaise (reserve remaining for topping).Form mixture into two equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height. -
Start Meatloaves and Prepare Topping
Place meatloaves on prepared baking sheet.
Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.While meatloaves roast, in another mixing bowl, combine remaining mayonnaise, cheese, and pesto. Set aside. -
Finish the Meatloaves
Carefully remove from oven. Evenly top meatloaves with topping. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.
Roast again in hot oven until meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-15 minutes.While meatloaves roast, continue recipe. -
Cook the Green Beans
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.
Add 1/4 cup water, cover, and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.Uncover and add 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and butter. Stir often until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping green beans with almonds. Bon appétit!
