Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Turkey and Peppers

    Evenly divide ground turkey and diced peppers between both provided trays. Top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake uncovered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Turkey will finish cooking in a later step.

    Carefully remove from oven and drain any excess liquid.

    Add the Sauce and Pasta

    Break up turkey into smaller pieces. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Evenly divide pasta, peas, marinara, and onion salt between both trays. Stir to combine. Top each tray with butter and cover with foil.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake both trays again covered in hot oven until pasta is heated through and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-18 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays from oven.

    To serve, top pasta with cheese. Bon appétit!
