Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Prepare the Rice and Corn
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging.
Combine rice, corn, and chile and cumin rub in provided tray. -
Add the Pork and Toppings
Break ground pork into small pieces and place on rice and corn in an even layer.
Top evenly with 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, enchilada sauce, and cheese. -
Bake the Meal
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pork is browned and reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 25-30 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.To serve, garnish with sour cream and tortilla strips. Bon appétit!
