Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Cut potatoes into 1" dice.

    Stem and mince dill.

Halve lemon lengthwise. Cut one half into wedges and juice the other half.

  2. 2

    Start the Potatoes

Place potatoes, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for broccoli), and 1 tsp. olive oil on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasoning into potatoes. Spread into an even layer.

Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While potatoes roast, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Add the Broccoli and Chicken

Pat chicken dry. Season both sides with za'atar seasoning and 1/2 tsp. salt.

After 10 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven. Stir broccoli, 1 tsp. olive oil, remaining garlic salt, and minced garlic and lemon basil into potatoes until combined. Push vegetables to one half of sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place chicken on now-empty half of sheet.

  4. 4

    Roast the Vegetables and Chicken

Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 18-22 minutes.

Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove from oven.

While vegetables and chicken roast, continue recipe.

  5. 5

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, dill, 1 tsp. lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping chicken with sauce. Garnish vegetables with cheese. Squeeze lemon wedges over to taste. Bon appétit!
