Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

1 Crisp the Bacon
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place a large pot over medium heat.Add bacon to hot pot and stir occasionally until crispy, 2-3 minutes.Transfer bacon to towel-lined plate. Keep pot over medium heat; no need to wipe clean. -
2 Cook the Peppers
Add 2 tsp. olive oil to hot pot.
Add peppers and a pinch of salt. Stir occasionally until peppers are slightly browned, 2-3 minutes. Alternatively, reserve half the raw bell peppers for snacking/serving on the side. -
3 Add the Sauce
Add half the bacon (reserve remaining for garnish), Bolognese sauce, 1/2 cup water, and garlic salt to hot pot. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, reduce heat to medium-low and stir occasionally until peppers are tender, 2-3 minutes. -
4 Add Pasta and Finish Dish
Add pasta, half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish), and cream cheese to hot pot. Stir occasionally until combined and pasta is heated through, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with panko, remaining shredded cheese, and remaining bacon. Bon appétit!
