Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

Prepare the Ingredients
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick wedges and pat dry.
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning and 1/4 the garlic salt (reserve remaining for potatoes and broccoli). -
Roast the Potato Wedges
Place potatoes, 1 Tbsp. olive oil, garlic pepper, and half the remaining garlic salt (reserve remaining for broccoli) on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes. Spread into an even layer.
Roast in hot oven until golden-brown, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through. While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
Cook the Steaks
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan and cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While steaks cook, continue recipe. -
Start the Broccoli
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli, 1/4 cup water, and remaining garlic salt to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.Uncover and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. -
Finish Broccoli and Finish Dish
Evenly top broccoli with cheese.
Cover until melted, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with softened butter. Bon appétit!
