Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, roast until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

Form the Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko, 1/4 tsp. salt, and chimichurri seasoning. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.

Roast the Meatballs
Place meatballs on prepared baking sheet and evenly top with 2 tsp. olive oil.
Roast in hot oven until meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 18-22 minutes.Carefully remove from oven.While meatballs roast, continue recipe. -
Prepare Ingredients and Make Tzatziki
Quarter tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions.
Halve cucumber. Cut one half into 1/4" dice and grate the other half.In another mixing bowl, combine grated cucumber, sour cream, and buttermilk-dill seasoning. Set aside. -
Toast the Flatbreads
Place flatbreads directly on oven rack and toast in hot oven until heated through and edges are lightly browned, 5-7 minutes.
Carefully remove from oven.Top evenly with softened butter. -
Finish the Dish
Evenly top flatbread with half the tzatziki (reserve remaining for garnish). Top with meatballs, diced cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with remaining tzatziki and cheese. Bon appétit!
