Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Remove stem, seeds, and ribs, and cut bell pepper into 1/2" dice.Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.Mince garlic. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli and 3 Tbsp. water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 3-5 minutes.Uncover and add bell peppers and 1/4 tsp. salt. Stir occasionally until tender, 3-5 minutes.Transfer to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean. -
3 Cook the Turkey
Add 2 tsp. olive oil, ground turkey, and garlic to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
4 Add the Sauce and Vegetables
Add cornstarch to hot pan and stir until combined.
Add vegetables, teriyaki glaze, and white portions of green onions. Stir often until sauce has slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.While sauce cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in a pinch of salt and fluff rice with a fork. Rest, 2 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing with green portions of green onions, sesame seeds, and wonton strips. Bon appétit!
