Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

1 Start the Vegetables
Place mushrooms, 1 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt in provided tray. Massage oil and seasoning into mushrooms. Spread into an even layer.
Bake uncovered in hot oven, 10 minutes.While mushrooms bake, place potatoes and 1 Tbsp. water in a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a damp paper towel. Microwave covered until tender, 4-6 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave.Using the flat side of an object (like a drinking glass), press down gently to smash each potato until 1/2" thick.After 10 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and stir in spinach until combined. -
2 Add the Steaks and Cheese
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with steak seasoning.
Push mushroom-spinach mixture to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.Place steaks in now-empty side of tray and evenly top with mushroom-spinach mixture, then 1 tsp. olive oil.Place potatoes in now-empty side of tray and evenly top with garlic salt, then cheese. -
3 Bake Meal and Make Sauce
Bake uncovered in hot oven until cheese is melted and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
While meal bakes, in a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, softened creme fraiche, 1 Tbsp. water, and mushroom base. Set aside.Carefully remove tray from oven. Rest, 3 minutes.To serve, slice steak, if desired, and top steak with spinach-mushroom mixture and sauce. Bon appétit!
