Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using filets mignon, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using yellowtail, pat dry. Add yellowtail, skin-side up first, and cook until fish reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side. Fish thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner filet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

Cook the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice, 1 1/4 cups water, and garlic salt to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner and stir in green onions (prepared in next step) and softened butter until combined.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Thinly slice mushrooms.
Trim and thinly slice green onions.Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with garlic and parsley seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt. -
Cook the Pork Chops
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add pork chops to hot pan and cook until golden-brown and chops reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner and transfer to a plate. Cover with foil and rest, 3 minutes.Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
Start the Sauce
Return pan used to cook pork to medium heat. Add 1 tsp. olive oil and mushrooms to hot pan.
Stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. -
Finish Sauce and Finish Dish
Add softened cream cheese, chicken base, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
Once simmering, stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with mushroom sauce. Slice pork, if desired. Bon appétit!
