Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

Start the Potatoes
Peel and cut sweet potatoes into large evenly-sized chunks.
Bring a medium pot with sweet potato chunks covered by water to a boil. Cook until fork-tender, 14-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Drain sweet potatoes in a colander and return to pot.While sweet potatoes cook, continue recipe. -
Prepare Ingredients and Make Maple-Sage Butter
Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel.
Stem sage. Place sage leaves on towel-lined plate and spray with cooking spray. Microwave until crisp, 1 minute.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 3 minutes.Once cool enough to handle, crumble sage leaves.While sage microwaves, coarsely crush pecans in shipping bag.Mince chives.In a mixing bowl, combine half the softened butter (reserve remaining for sweet potatoes), sage, and 1 tsp. maple syrup (remaining is yours to use as you please). Set aside. -
Finish the Potatoes
Add half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for filets), remaining butter, and softened cream cheese to pot with sweet potatoes.
Mash until completely combined and smooth. Cover and set aside. -
Crisp the Bacon
Line another plate with a paper towel.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.Add bacon to hot pan and stir occasionally until crispy, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer bacon to towel-lined plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. -
Cook Steaks and Finish Dish
Pat steaks dry and season both sides with remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper.
Return pan used to crisp bacon to medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add steaks to hot pan. Cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner. Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate. Rest, 5 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping steak with maple-sage butter and garnishing mashed sweet potatoes with bacon, pecans, and chives. Bon appétit!
