Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using steak strips, pat dry, coarsely chop, then separate pieces. Stir occasionally until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

1 Cook the Peppers
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add diced peppers and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until peppers are slightly tender, 3-5 minutes. -
2 Add the Pork
Add ground pork and black garlic seasoning to hot pan.
Break up meat until no pink remains and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 5-7 minutes.Drain any excess liquid. Pan will be hot! Use caution. -
3 Add the Pineapples and Sauce
Drain pineapples.
Add pineapples and edamame to hot pan. Stir occasionally until heated through, 3-5 minutes.Add sweet and sour sauce and orange sauce. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, remove from burner.While ground pork mixture cooks, continue recipe. -
4 Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps and remove from packaging. Combine rice and garlic salt in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with ground pork mixture. Garnish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
