You Will Need

  • 1 Colander/Strainer

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Cook the Pasta

    Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Reserve 1 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside.

    While pasta cooks, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Chicken

    Pat chicken dry.

    In a mixing bowl, combine chicken, panko, Italian seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly. Set aside.

    Line a plate with a paper towel.

    Cook the Chicken

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add canola oil. Let oil heat, 5 minutes.

    Test oil temperature by adding a pinch of panko to it. It should sizzle gently. If it browns immediately, turn heat down and let oil cool. If it doesn't brown, increase heat.

    Working in batches, carefully add chicken to hot oil and cook until golden-brown on two sides and pieces reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 1-3 minutes per side.

    Remove from burner and transfer chicken to towel-lined plate.

    Make the Alfredo Sauce

    In another mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and 2 Tbsp. water. Set aside.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat.

    Add reserved pasta cooking water, cream cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until cream cheese is melted and combined, 2-3 minutes.

    Stir in cornstarch mixture until combined and bring to a simmer.

    Add Pasta and Finish Dish

    Once simmering, stir garlic and parsley seasoning and half the shredded cheese (reserve remaining for garnish) into hot pan with sauce. Stir occasionally until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.

    Add pasta and stir until coated and heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pasta with chicken and remaining shredded cheese. Bon appétit!
