Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes. 

  • If using ground turkey, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 11-13 minutes.

    Form the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, thoroughly combine ground pork, seasoned salt, half the sour cream (reserve remaining for potatoes), and panko. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.

    Cook the Meatballs

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add meatballs to hot pan, cover, and stir occasionally until meatballs are browned and reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Add Buffalo sauce (to taste) and creme fraiche and stir until melted and meatballs are coated.

    Remove from burner.

    While meatballs cook, continue recipe.

    Make the Mashed Potatoes

    Place another medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add mashed potatoes, 1/4 tsp. salt, ranch seasoning, and remaining sour cream to hot pan. Stir vigorously until combined and heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Heat Corn and Finish Dish

    Place corn, butter, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping meatballs with sauce (to taste) from pan. Bon appétit!
