Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F
  1. 1

    Start the Green Beans

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

Place green beans and 1 tsp. olive oil in provided tray. Massage oil into green beans. Spread into an even layer and cover with foil.

Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

While green beans bake, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Add the Steaks

Pat steaks dry and season both sides with 1 tsp. olive oil and half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for green beans).

After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray from oven and drain any excess liquid. Tray will be hot! Use caution.

Stir in remaining garlic salt and a pinch of pepper until combined. Push green beans to one side of tray. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

Place steaks in now-empty side of tray.

  3. 3

Bake Meal, Heat Mashed Potatoes, and Make Blue Cheese Crema

Bake uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and steaks reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 13-18 minutes.

Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

While meal bakes, place mashed potatoes, cream cheese, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in a microwave-safe bowl. Vigorously stir to combine. Microwave uncovered until heated through, 2-3 minutes.

Carefully remove from microwave and vigorously stir to combine. Set aside.

In another microwave-safe bowl, combine creme fraiche and blue cheese (to taste). Microwave uncovered until melted, 30-45 seconds.

Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine. Set aside.

Carefully remove tray from oven and stir softened butter into green beans until combined. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

To serve, top steak with blue cheese crema. Garnish green beans with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
