Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

If using ground turkey, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 11-13 minutes.

Cook the Rice
Bring a small pot with rice, 1 1/4 cups water, and a pinch of salt to a boil.
Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Stir in half the green onions (prepared in a later step; reserve remaining for sauce) until combined.Remove from burner and set aside.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Trim green beans, if necessary, and cut into 1" pieces.
Trim and thinly slice green onions.In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, panko, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Form mixture into 8 equally-sized meatballs. -
Cook the Meatballs
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add meatballs to hot pan. Cover and roll occasionally until browned all over and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 8-10 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Cook the Green Beans
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.After 1 minute, add 1/4 cup water and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cover and stir occasionally until tender, 6-8 minutes.If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes. -
Add Sauce and Meatballs and Finish Dish
Transfer meatballs to hot pan with green beans.
Stir in soy sauce, orange sauce, and remaining green onions until combined.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with meatballs and green beans. Garnish with almonds. Bon appétit!
