Customize It Instructions

  • If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using chicken cutlets, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes per side. Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

  • If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side.

  1. 1

    Start the Potatoes

    Quarter potatoes.

Place potatoes in a microwave-safe bowl and cover with a damp paper towel.

Microwave covered until tender, 6-8 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave.

    While potatoes microwave, continue recipe.

  2. 2

    Cook the Pork Chops

Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. pepper.

Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add pork chops to hot pan and cook until golden-brown and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

Remove from burner. Transfer to a plate and rest, 3 minutes.

    Wipe pan clean and reserve.

While pork chops cook, continue recipe.

  3. 3

    Finish the Potatoes

Place a large oven-safe non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

Add microwaved potatoes to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned all over, 8-10 minutes.

Add corn and potato spice seasoning. Stir occasionally until corn is heated through, 1-2 minutes.

Remove from burner and evenly top with cheese.

Broil under hot broiler until cheese is melted and golden-brown, 4-6 minutes.

Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as cheese may burn easily under broiler.

Carefully remove from broiler. Pan handle will be hot! Use an oven mitt.

  4. 4

    Make Sauce and Finish Dish

Return pan used to cook pork chops to medium-low heat.

Add BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup water, and chicken base to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Once simmering, remove from burner and stir in butter until melted and combined.

Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with sauce. Garnish potatoes with sour cream and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
