Meatlovers! If using protein, cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil.

If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using chicken cutlets, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-5 minutes per side. Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 3-4 minutes per side. Add protein to meal as desired.

Cook the Broccoli
Cut broccoli into 1" pieces.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add broccoli, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper, and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until broccoli is tender and water is mostly evaporated, 3-5 minutes. -
Add the Sauce
Add minced garlic and parsley and flour to hot pan. Stir often until no dry flour remains.
Stir in cream base, mirepoix base, 1/2 cup water, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Bring to a simmer. -
Add the Pasta
Once simmering, add pasta, cheddar, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir often until melted and combined, 1-2 minutes.
If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
Make Garlic Bread and Finish Dish
Halve ciabatta diagonally and separate halves. You should have 8 pieces total.
Spread softened butter on cut-sides of bread. Place cut-side up on prepared baking sheet. Top with half the Parmesan (reserve remaining for garnish).Broil under hot broiler until golden-brown, 1-2 minutes.Don't text and broil! Keep an eye on oven as bread may burn easily under broiler.Carefully remove from broiler.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing pasta with remaining Parmesan. Bon appétit!
