Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using filets mignon, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

1 Start the Potatoes
Peel and cut potatoes into 1" dice.
Bring a medium pot with diced potatoes and 1 tsp. salt covered by water to a boil.Once boiling, cook until fork-tender, 14-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Reserve 1/4 cup potato cooking water. Drain potatoes in a colander and return to pot.While potatoes cook, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare Ingredients and Make Mustard Butter
Finely crush pretzels in shipping bag.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.In a mixing bowl, combine mustard (to taste) and softened butter. Set aside. -
3 Prepare the Pork Chops
Pat pork chops dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. Evenly top with mayonnaise.
Evenly spread crushed pretzels on a plate.Place pork, mayonnaise-side down, onto pretzels, pressing gently to adhere. -
4 Cook the Pork Chops
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add pork chops to hot pan and cook until golden-brown and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.While pork cooks, continue recipe. -
5 Finish Potatoes and Finish Dish
Add white portions of green onions, cream base, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper to pot with potatoes.
Mash until combined and smooth. Cover and set aside. If too thick, add reserved potato cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork chop with mustard butter. Garnish mashed potatoes with green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
