Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Start the Chicken
Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Pierce tomatoes with a fork.Pat chicken dry.Evenly divide chicken and tomatoes between two provided trays. Top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until chicken is no longer pink, 10-12 minutes.Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.Carefully remove from oven. -
2 Add the Pasta
Evenly divide pasta, marinara sauce, tomato puree, garlic salt, and pesto between both trays. Stir until combined.
Top both trays evenly with cheese. -
3 Bake the Meal
Bake again uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-12 minutes.
While meal bakes, place baguette directly on oven rack and bake until golden-brown, 8-10 minutes.Carefully remove trays and garlic bread from oven.To serve, top pasta with balsamic glaze. Bon appétit!
