Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Chicken

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Pierce tomatoes with a fork.

    Pat chicken dry.

    Evenly divide chicken and tomatoes between two provided trays. Top each tray with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Bake both trays uncovered in hot oven until chicken is no longer pink, 10-12 minutes.

    Chicken will finish cooking in a later step.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    Add the Pasta

    Evenly divide pasta, marinara sauce, tomato puree, garlic salt, and pesto between both trays. Stir until combined.

    Top both trays evenly with cheese.

    Bake the Meal

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 10-12 minutes.

    While meal bakes, place baguette directly on oven rack and bake until golden-brown, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove trays and garlic bread from oven.

    To serve, top pasta with balsamic glaze. Bon appétit!
