Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove lid and label, if necessary. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine rice, tomato sauce, seasoning blend, mirepoix base, 2 Tbsp. water, and a pinch of salt in provided tray. Spread into an even layer. -
2 Add the Shrimp
Top rice evenly with pepper and onion mix, then add shrimp in an even layer.
If using 16 oz. shrimp, jumbo shrimp, or diced chicken, follow same instructions. -
3 Finish the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 18-22 minutes.
If using 16 oz. shrimp or jumbo shrimp follow same instructions. If using diced chicken, bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 23-25 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Stir in butter and sprinkle with crispy onions. Bon appétit!
