Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

Cook the Pasta
Once water is boiling, add pasta and cook until al dente, 10-12 minutes.
Remove from burner. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta cooking water. Drain pasta in a colander and set aside.While pasta cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare Ingredients and Toast Panko
Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add panko to hot pan and stir constantly until lightly browned and toasted, 1-2 minutes.Pat chicken dry and season both sides with blackening seasoning.Remove from burner. Transfer panko to a plate. Return pan to medium heat. -
Cook the Chicken
Add 1 tsp. olive oil and chicken to hot pan. Cook until browned and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes per side.
Remove from burner.While chicken cooks, continue recipe. -
Cook the Broccoli
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add broccoli and 1/4 cup water to hot pan. Cover and cook until water is almost completely evaporated, 4-6 minutes.Uncover and stir occasionally until tender, 2-3 minutes. -
Make Sauce, Add Pasta, and Finish Dish
Add cream base, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper to hot pan. Stir occasionally until cheese is melted and combined.
Add pasta and 2 Tbsp. reserved pasta cooking water. Stir occasionally until combined and slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.If sauce is too thick, add additional pasta cooking water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached. Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, slicing chicken, if desired and topping pasta with chicken and toasted panko. Bon appétit!
