Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4"-thick fries and pat dry. Place fries on prepared baking sheet and toss with 4 tsp. olive oil and a pinch of salt and pepper. Spread into a single layer.
Roast in hot oven until lightly browned, 25-30 minutes, tossing once halfway through.Carefully remove from oven. Add buttermilk-dill seasoning and toss to coat. Sheet and fries will be hot! Use a utensil.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
Make Dijon Mayonnaise and Prepare Ingredients
In a mixing bowl, combine mustard and mayonnaise. Set aside.
Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips. Add ground beef to another mixing bowl and combine with 1/4 tsp. salt and smoked paprika. Form mixture into two equally-sized patties, about 5" in diameter. Season both sides with coarse black pepper. -
Cook the Onions
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add onions to hot pan and stir occasionally until browned, 10-12 minutes.If pan becomes dry, add water, 1 Tbsp. at a time, as needed.Remove from burner.While onions cook, continue recipe. -
Toast the Buns
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Spray cut-sides of buns with cooking spray.
Add buns, cut-side down, to hot, dry pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Transfer buns to a plate. Keep pan over medium-high heat; no need to wipe clean. -
Cook Patties and Finish Dish
Add 1 tsp. olive oil and patties to hot pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.
Top with cheese and cover until melted, 45-60 seconds.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with patty, onions, Dijon mayonnaise, and top bun. Bon appétit!
