Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Microwave Instructions

    Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Crush croutons. Drain brisket and separate slices.

    In one section of provided tray, combine cream base, cheese, and a pinch of salt. In empty section of provided tray, combine BBQ sauce, chipotle seasoning (to taste), and 1 tsp. water.

    Microwave uncovered until cheese melts, 1-2 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave. Stir cheese sauce section until smooth, then add pasta and spinach.

    Add brisket to BBQ section of tray. Cover tray with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until spinach wilts and brisket is heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from microwave and stir both sections.

    To serve, top pasta with crushed croutons. Bon appétit!

    Oven Instructions

    Turn oven on to 375 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Make sure to use conventional oven setting, not convection. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Crush croutons. Drain brisket and separate slices.

    In one section of provided tray, combine cream base, cheese, and a pinch of salt. In empty section of provided tray, combine BBQ sauce, chipotle seasoning (to taste), and 1 tsp. water.

    Place tray on baking sheet. Bake uncovered in hot oven until cheese melts, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir cheese sauce section until smooth, then add pasta and spinach.

    Add brisket to BBQ section of tray. Cover tray with foil.

    Place tray on baking sheet. Bake covered in hot oven until spinach wilts and brisket is heated through, 8-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove tray from oven and stir both sections.

    To serve, top pasta with crushed croutons. Bon appétit!
