Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook in a medium non-stick pan over medium heat with 1 tsp. olive oil until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Combine panko, sugar, paprika, and poultry seasoning on a plate. Spread into an even layer.

    Pat chicken dry. Cover with plastic wrap and use a heavy object to pound to an even 1/8" thickness. Gallon bags make clean up easier and are made of thicker plastic. If you don’t have a disposable bag, use plastic wrap.

    Season both sides of chicken with 1/4 tsp. salt. Place chicken onto panko mixture, pressing gently to adhere to both sides.

    Assemble the Green Beans and Chicken

    Place green beans on one half of prepared baking sheet and top with 1 tsp. olive oil, half the onion salt (reserve remaining for mashed potatoes), and a pinch of pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into green beans. Push to one side of sheet.

    Add chicken to now-empty side.

    Roast the Green Beans and Chicken

    Roast in hot oven until green beans are tender and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 18-22 minutes.

    Cutlet thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner cutlet, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    While green beans and chicken roast, continue recipe.

    Heat Mashed Potatoes and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mashed potatoes, butter, garlic and parsley seasoning, and remaining onion salt. Vigorously stir to combine. Cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until mashed potatoes are heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Vigorously stir to combine.
