Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |

  • Ground Turkey 165° F |

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Mince chives.

    Start the Green Beans

    Place green beans on prepared baking sheet and toss with 2 tsp. olive oil, half the garlic and parsley seasoning (reserve remaining for trout), and 1/4 tsp. salt. Spread into an even layer.

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While green beans roast, continue recipe.

    Add the Trout

    Pat trout dry and season flesh side with remaining garlic and parsley seasoning and 1/4 tsp. salt.

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to green beans. Stir to combine and push to one side of sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Add trout to now-empty side of sheet and evenly top with 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Finish Green Beans and Trout and Finish Dish

    Roast in hot oven until green beans are tender and trout reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 7-10 minutes.

    Carefully remove from oven.

    To serve, top trout with softened butter and chives. Garnish green beans with almonds and cheese. Bon appétit!
