Pepper-Jack Burger with Jalapeño Jam
and oven fries
Prep & Cook Time: 30-40 min.
Spice Level: Medium
Cook Within: 5 days
Contains: Milk, Eggs, Wheat
This burger is miles beyond the pickle, tomato, lettuce and condiments classic you pick up at fast food joints. First, the pepper jack cheese brings a slight spice, a hint, to the proceedings. But then, a jam of jalapeño and vinegar perfectly balances the patty, with slight heat and slight sweet, and a whole lot of flavor. And what could go on the side but perfectly baked oven fries? This is classic, but beyond.
