Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground turkey, roast until loaves reach minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes.

    Start the Meatloaves

    In a mixing bowl, combine panko, 2 Tbsp. water, ground beef, pot roast seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Form mixture into four equally-sized, oval-shaped loaves, about 3" in length and 2" by height.

    Place meatloaves on one half of prepared baking sheet.

    Roast in hot oven, 10 minutes.

    While meatloaves roast, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Cut broccoli into bite-sized pieces.

    Cut cauliflower into bite-sized pieces.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ketchup, mustard (to taste), and brown sugar. Set aside.

    Add the Vegetables and Sauce

    After 10 minutes, carefully remove sheet from oven.

    Place broccoli and cauliflower on empty side of sheet. Top with 1/4 tsp. salt, a pinch of pepper, and 4 tsp. olive oil. Stir to combine. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Top meatloaves with ketchup mixture. Wipe bowl clean and reserve.

    Finish the Vegetables and Meatloaves

    Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatloaves reach a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 15-20 minutes.

    Carefully remove sheet from oven.

    While vegetables and meatloaves roast, continue recipe.

    Make Cheese Sauce and Finish Dish

    In reserved microwave-safe bowl, combine cream base, 1/4 cup water, cheese, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover with a damp paper towel.

    Microwave covered until cheese has melted and sauce is heated through, 2-3 minutes.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir until smooth.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping vegetables with cheese sauce. Bon appétit!
