1 Bake the Potatoes
Pierce potatoes 5 times all over with a fork. Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet.
Top with 1 Tbsp. olive oil and season all over with 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Massage oil and seasonings into potatoes.Bake in hot oven until potatoes can be easily pierced with a knife, 45-60 minutes.Alternatively, place potatoes on a microwave-safe plate and microwave uncovered until easily pierced with a knife, 6-10 minutes. (Note: microwaves vary in power; begin checking doneness every minute after 6 minutes.)While potatoes bake, continue recipe. -
2 Prepare the Ingredients
Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.
Line a microwave-safe plate with a paper towel. Spread bacon evenly on towel-lined plate and microwave until crisp, 1-2 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Set aside.Pat steaks dry and season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper. -
3 Cook the Steaks
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add steaks to hot pan and cook until steaks reach desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well.Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.Remove from burner. Transfer steaks to a plate and cover with foil. Rest, 3 minutes.Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
4 Make the Sauce
Return pan used to cook steaks to medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add white portions of green onions to hot pan and stir occasionally until fragrant, 30-60 seconds.
Stir in cream cheese and 1/4 cup water. Bring to a simmer.Once simmering, stir often until cream cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Stir in honey, mustard, and butter until melted, combined, and slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes. If sauce is too thick, add additional water, 1 tsp. at a time, until desired consistency is reached.Remove from burner. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, halving potato lengthwise and topping with shredded cheese, sour cream, crisped bacon, green portions of green onions, and salt and pepper to taste. Slice steak, if desired, and top with sauce. Bon appétit!
