Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F
Customize It Instructions

If using whole chicken breasts, pat dry and, on a clean cutting board, cut into 1” dice. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 25-30 minutes.

If using steak strips, spread into a single layer, pat dry, and coarsely chop. Follow same instructions as shrimp in Steps 2 and 3, baking uncovered in hot oven until steak reaches minimum internal temperature, 20-25 minutes. Rest, 3 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Turn oven on to 400 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.
Combine couscous, zucchini, marinara, half the Italian seasoning (remaining is yours to use as you please!), 2 tsp. olive oil, and 1/4 tsp. salt in provided tray. -
Add the Shrimp
Drain shrimp thoroughly. Pat dry.
Gently stir shrimp into couscous. -
Bake the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until shrimp reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 20-25 minutes.
Carefully remove tray from oven. Stir in butter and a pinch of salt until combined.To serve, top with lemon juice and cheese (crumbling if needed). Bon appétit!
