Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 10-12 minutes. 

  • If using Impossible burger, add meatballs to hot pan and cook until Impossible burger reaches minimum internal temperature, 12-15 minutes.

    Form the Meatballs

    In a mixing bowl, combine panko and 2 Tbsp. water. Let sit, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add ground turkey and garlic salt and thoroughly combine. Form mixture into eight evenly-sized meatballs.

    Cook the Meatballs

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add meatballs to hot pan. Cover and roll meatballs occasionally until browned all over and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 8-10 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Transfer meatballs to a plate. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.

    While meatballs cook, continue recipe.

    Cook the Green Beans

    Trim ends off green beans, if necessary.

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add green beans to hot pan and cook, 1 minute.

    Add 1/4 cup water. Cover and cook until tender, 6-8 minutes.

    If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner. Stir in buttermilk-dill seasoning until combined.

    Make Sauce and Crema and Finish Dish

    Return pan used to cook meatballs to medium heat. Add 2 Tbsp. water and Buffalo sauce (to taste) to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.

    Once simmering, stir occasionally until combined and heated through, 1-2 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in butter until melted and combined. Add meatballs and roll until coated.

    While sauce cooks, in another mixing bowl, combine blue cheese (to taste), sour cream, 1 tsp. water, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping meatballs with crema (to taste). Bon appétit!
