Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using ground turkey, cook until patties reach minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes per side.

1 Roast the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/4" fries and pat dry.
Place fries, 4 tsp. olive oil, 1/4 tsp. salt, half the garlic and parsley seasoning (reserve remaining for cheese sauce), and a pinch of pepper on prepared baking sheet. Massage oil and seasonings into fries. Spread into a single layer.Roast in hot oven until golden-brown and tender, 25-30 minutes, tossing fries halfway through.While fries roast, continue recipe. -
2 Toast the Rolls
Spray cut-sides of each roll with cooking spray.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat.Add rolls, cut-side down, to hot pan. Toast until lightly browned, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer rolls to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
3 Cook the Patties
Form ground beef into two equally-sized patties, about 5" across. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Return pan used to toast rolls to medium heat.Add patties to hot, dry pan. Cook until lightly charred and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side.Remove from burner.While patties cook, continue recipe. -
4 Make the Bacon Butter Crema
Place a small non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add bacon to hot, dry pan. Stir occasionally until crispy, 1-3 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer bacon to a mixing bowl. Let cool, 5 minutes.Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean.After 5 minutes, stir in softened butter, creme fraiche, and a pinch of salt and pepper until combined. Set aside. -
5 Make Cheese Sauce and Finish Dish
Return pan used to cook bacon to medium heat.
Add 1/2 cup water, remaining garlic and parsley seasoning, and cream cheese to hot pan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.Once simmering, add shredded cheese and a pinch of salt and stir until combined, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom roll with patty, pickles (to taste), bacon butter crema, and top roll. Garnish fries with cheese sauce. Bon appétit!
