You Will Need

- 1 Small Pot
- 1 Microwave-Safe Bowl
Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

Start the Rice
Thinly slice garlic.
Bring a small pot with rice, umami seasoning, garlic, and 11/4 cups water to a boil.Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.Remove from burner. Cover and set aside.While rice cooks, continue recipe. -
Prepare the Ingredients
Quarter mushrooms.
Pat yellowtail dry and season flesh side with Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse). -
Cook the Vegetables
Line a plate with a paper towel.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add mushrooms, edamame, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer vegetables to towel-lined plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
Cook the Yellowtail
Return pan used to cook vegetables to medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.
Add yellowtail to hot pan, skin-side up first. Cook undisturbed until yellowtail reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.Remove from burner. -
Heat Glaze, Finish Rice, and Finish Dish
Add teriyaki glaze to a microwave-safe bowl. Cover with a paper towel and microwave covered until heated through, 20-30 seconds.
Uncover rice and stir in vegetables and butter until melted and combined.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping yellowtail with teriyaki glaze and garnishing dish with sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
