Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground turkey, break up until turkey reaches minimum internal temperature, 6-8 minutes.

1 Cook Beef and Make Cornstarch Slurry
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat.
Add ground beef and garlic salt to hot, dry pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and beef reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer ground beef to a plate. Wipe pan clean and reserve.Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup water in a mixing bowl. Set aside. -
2 Cook the Vegetables
Return pan used to cook beef to medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add cabbage and onions to hot pan and stir often until tender, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner and transfer vegetables to plate with beef. Wipe pan clean and reserve. -
3 Make the Sauce
Return pan used to cook beef and cabbage to medium-high heat.
Add orange sauce, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce, and 1/2 cup water to hot pan. Bring to a simmer.Stir cornstarch slurry to recombine.Once simmering, add cornstarch slurry to pan with sauce and stir occasionally until thickened and sauce coats the back of a spoon, 1-2 minutes. -
4 Add Noodles and Finish Dish
Add noodles, beef, cabbage, and red pepper flakes (to taste) to hot pan and gently stir until coated and heated through, 2-3 minutes.
Remove from burner.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping noodles and beef with wonton strips. Bon appétit!
