Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Preheat broiler, at least 5 minutes. Spray provided tray with cooking spray.

    Mince garlic.

    Pat pork medallions dry.

    Add broccoli, garlic, and 2 tsp. olive oil to provided tray. Massage broccoli until evenly coated. Push to one side of tray.

    Place pork medallions in empty half of tray. Top evenly with 1 Tbsp. teriyaki glaze (reserve remaining for second bake).

    Broil in hot oven until medallions and broccoli are lightly charred, 8-10 minutes.

    While meal broils, prepare green onions.

    Finish Broccoli and Pork Medallions

    Trim and thinly slice green onions, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Reduce oven temperature to 425 degrees.

    Stir in remaining teriyaki glaze, ginger, 1 Tbsp. water, white portions of green onions, and red pepper flakes (use less if spice-averse). Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Bake again uncovered in hot oven until sauce is warmed through and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 5-7 minutes.

    While meal bakes, prepare rice.

    Heat Rice and Finish Meal

    Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Tear a small slit in an upper corner of bag to vent. Place upright in microwave and heat, 45 seconds.

    Remove rice from packaging. Fluff with a fork.

    Carefully remove tray from oven. Garnish rice with green portions of green onions and top with pork, broccoli, any extra sauce from tray, and sesame seeds. Bon appétit!
