Cooking Guidelines

If using antibiotic free chicken breasts, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

If using salmon, pat dry. Add salmon, skin-side up first, and cook until salmon reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes per side.

If using shrimp, pat dry. Cook until pink and shrimp reach minimum internal temperature, 2-3 minutes per side.

Cook the Chicken and Peppers
Pat chicken thighs dry. Don't worry about trimming. Excess fat will render while cooking and add flavor.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.Add chicken, diced peppers, umami seasoning, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until golden-brown and chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 5-7 minutes.While chicken and peppers cook, continue recipe. -
Make the Sauce
In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch, sweet and sour sauce, soy sauce, and 1 Tbsp. water. Set aside.

Add the Sauce and Pineapples
Add sauce, pineapples, and 1/4 tsp. salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until sauce is slightly thickened, 1-2 minutes.
Remove from burner. -
Heat Rice and Finish Dish
Carefully massage rice in bag to break up any clumps. Remove rice from packaging. Place rice in a microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave uncovered until heated through, 3-4 minutes.Carefully remove from microwave. Rest, 2 minutes.Fluff rice with a fork.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping rice with chicken and peppers, sesame seeds, and wonton strips. Bon appétit!
