Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Customize It Instructions

  • If using antibiotic free chicken, pat dry. Cook until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes per side.

  • If using top round steak, pat dry. Cook until steak reaches desired doneness, or 3-5 minutes per side for medium/medium-well. Rest, 3 minutes. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim green beans, if necessary.

    Cut mushrooms into 1/4" slices.

    Peel and halve shallot. Slice thinly.

    Pat pork chops dry. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.

    Cook the Pork Chops

    Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Add pork chops and shallots to hot pan. Stir occasionally until shallots are browned and pork reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 3-5 minutes per side.

    Pork thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner chop, we recommend checking for doneness sooner.

    Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.

    While pork and shallots cook, continue recipe.

    Cook the Vegetables

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil.

    Add green beans and mushrooms to hot pan. Stir occasionally, 1 minute.

    After 1 minute, add 1/4 cup water, mushroom base, garlic and parsley seasoning, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper. Cover and stir occasionally until vegetables are tender, 6-8 minutes.

    If green beans need more time, add 2 Tbsp. water, cover, and stir occasionally, 1-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner and stir in softened butter until combined.

    While green beans cook, continue recipe.

    Make Cheese Sauce and Finish Dish

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine creme fraiche and 2 Tbsp. water.

    Microwave uncovered until creme fraiche is melted, 20-30 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in cheese and a pinch of salt and pepper until combined.

    Microwave again uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.

    Carefully remove from microwave and stir to combine.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping pork with cheese sauce. Garnish with shallots from pan. Bon appétit!
