You Will Need

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Large Non-Stick Pan

Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

Customize It Instructions

  • If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

  • If using Impossible burger, break up until burger reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

    Cook the Rice

    Bring a small pot with rice and 11/4 cups water to a boil.

    Once boiling, reduce to a simmer, cover, and cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes.

    Remove from burner and set aside.

    While rice cooks, continue recipe.

    Prepare the Ingredients

    Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.

    Remove any discolored outer leaves from bok choy and trim ends. Cut into 1/2" strips. Bok choy can retain some grit, even after washing. To completely clean, hold upside down in a bowl of water. Shake slightly to release the grit.

    In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch and 1 Tbsp. water until dissolved.

    Cook the Ground Turkey

    Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.

    Add ground turkey and white portions of green onions to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains, 4-5 minutes.

    Add the Vegetables

    Add diced peppers, bok choy, Asian garlic, ginger & chile seasoning (use less if spice-averse), and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until peppers are tender and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 6-8 minutes.

    Add Sauce and Finish Dish

    Add teriyaki glaze, sesame oil, and cornstarch mixture to hot pan. Stir occasionally until sauce thickens, 2-3 minutes.

    Remove from burner.

    Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping turkey mixture with sesame seeds and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
