Before You Cook

Cooking Guidelines

To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

  • Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
  • Seafood 145° F |
  • Chicken 165° F |
  • Ground Beef 160° F |
  • Ground Turkey 165° F |
  • Ground Pork 160° F

    Start the Green Beans

    Turn oven on to 425 degrees. Let preheat, at least 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse any fresh produce and pat dry.

    Place green beans in one provided tray. Top with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, half the garlic salt (reserve remaining for potatoes), and a pinch of pepper.

    Cover tray with foil. Bake covered in hot oven, 15 minutes.

    Prepare the Salmon

    While green beans bake, drain potatoes.

    Pat salmon dry, and season flesh side with a pinch of salt and pepper.

    Place salmon in second provided tray and top evenly with pesto and almonds.

    Bake the Meal

    After 15 minutes, carefully remove tray with green beans from oven. Push green beans to one side of tray. Add potatoes and remaining garlic salt to empty side of tray and stir to combine. Tray will be hot! Use a utensil.

    Roast both trays uncovered in hot oven until green beans are tender and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-18 minutes.

    While salmon and vegetables roast, halve and juice lemon.

    Carefully remove trays from oven. Top green beans with 2 tsp. lemon juice and crispy onions. Top potatoes with goat cheese (crumbling if needed). Bon appétit!
