Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Salmon Instructions
Pat salmon dry. We recommend seasoning flesh side with 1/4 tsp. salt and a pinch of pepper.
Use a large non-stick pan over medium heat with 2 tsp. olive oil. Add salmon, skin side up, to hot pan and sear until golden brown and salmon reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes per side. -
NY Strip Steak Instructions
Pat steaks dry. We recommend seasoning both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add steaks to hot pan and cook until browned and desired doneness is reached, 4-6 minutes per side for medium/medium well. Steak thickness can vary; if you receive a thinner steak, we recommend checking for doneness sooner. Rest, 3 minutes. -
Shrimp Instructions
Pat shrimp dry. We recommend seasoning both sides with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add 2 tsp. olive oil. Add shrimp to hot pan and cook undisturbed until shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 2-3 minutes per side.
