Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Prepare the Ingredients
Line a plate with paper towels.
Drain tofu. Cut into 1/2" dice. Place tofu on towel-lined plate. Top with paper towels, then press gently but firmly to remove excess moisture. Season all over with piri piri seasoning (use less if spice-averse).Quarter tomatoes. If you receive one whole tomato instead, not to worry; simply core tomato, cut into 1/2" dice, and proceed with recipe instructions. -
Cook the Tofu
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add tofu to hot pan. Stir occasionally until browned and crisp, 6-8 minutes.Don't rush cooking the tofu; it will need the complete cooking time for the correct crispness.Remove from burner.While tofu cooks, continue recipe. -
Toast the Flatbreads
Spread softened butter on one side of each flatbread.
Place another large non-stick pan over medium heat.Working in batches if necessary, add flatbreads to hot, dry pan and toast until browned, 1-2 minutes per side.Remove from burner. -
Prepare Toppings and Finish Dish
Stem and tear dill.
In a mixing bowl, combine tomatoes, 1 tsp. olive oil, 1 tsp. dill, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Set aside.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling flatbreads with tofu, tomato mixture, tzatziki, cheese, and crispy onions. Bon appétit!
