Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

If using 20 oz. steak strips, follow same instructions as 10 oz, working in batches if necessary. You may have leftover filling.

If using Impossible burger, break up until protein reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4-6 minutes.

Prepare the Fries
Cut potatoes into 1/2" wedges.
Combine fries, 2 tsp. olive oil, potato spice seasoning, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl. Gently toss until coated.Evenly spread Parmesan on a plate. Place one side of each potato wedge onto Parmesan, gently pressing to adhere.Place fries, Parmesan-side up, on prepared baking sheet. -
Roast the Fries
Roast in hot oven until fries are golden-brown and tender, 25-30 minutes, flipping once halfway through.
While fries roast, continue recipe. -
Toast the Ciabatta
Separate ciabatta halves, if necessary.
Place a large non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Working in batches, if necessary, add ciabatta, cut-side down, to hot pan and toast until golden-brown, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Transfer ciabatta to a plate and set aside. Reserve pan; no need to wipe clean. -
Make Bruschetta and Prepare Steak Strips
Core tomato and cut into 1/4" dice.
In another mixing bowl, combine tomatoes and pesto. Set aside.Pat steak strips dry. Coarsely chop, then separate pieces. -
Cook Steak Strips and Finish Dish
Return pan used to toast ciabatta to medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil. Add steak strips, black garlic seasoning, and a pinch of salt to hot pan. Stir occasionally until no pink remains and steak strips reach a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 4-6 minutes.
Top evenly with mozzarella. Cover and cook until cheese is melted, 1-2 minutes.Remove from burner. Rest, 3 minutes.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping bottom bun with aioli, steak mixture, bruschetta, and top bun. Bon appétit!
