Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Prepare Ingredients and Make Crema
Core tomatoes and cut into 1/2" dice.
Hold romaine heart at root end and chop coarsely. In a mixing bowl, combine sour cream, buttermilk-dill seasoning, and 2 tsp. water. Set aside. -
Form the Meatballs
In another mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, mayonnaise, chimichurri seasoning, garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp. pepper. Form mixture into 16 equally-sized meatballs.
Place meatballs on one side of prepared baking sheet and top with 2 tsp. olive oil. -
Start the Meatballs
Roast in hot oven, 12 minutes.
Meatballs will finish cooking in a later step. -
Finish Meatballs and Toast Flatbreads
Carefully remove meatballs from oven.
Place flatbreads on empty side of baking sheet. Sheet will be hot! Use caution.Roast in hot oven until flatbreads are heated through and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 3-5 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, filling flatbread with meatballs, romaine, tomatoes, and crema. Bon appétit!
