Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

If using ground beef, roast until meatballs reach minimum internal temperature, 17-20 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Trim stems off Brussels sprouts and halve vertically. If larger than a ping-pong ball, quarter.
Quarter potatoes. If larger than a ping-pong ball, cut into six to eight wedges. -
Start the Potatoes
Place potatoes on prepared baking sheet and toss with 1 Tbsp. olive oil, 1/4 the garlic salt (reserve remaining for Brussels sprouts and meatballs), and a pinch of pepper. Spread into a single layer.
Roast in hot oven, 15 minutes.While potatoes roast, continue recipe. -
Add the Brussels Sprouts and Meatballs
In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, panko, mayonnaise, savory seasoning, and half the remaining garlic salt (reserve remaining for Brussels sprouts). Form mixture into 12 equally-sized meatballs.
After 15 minutes, carefully remove baking sheet from oven. Add Brussels sprouts, 1 tsp. olive oil, remaining garlic salt, and a pinch of pepper. Stir to combine and push vegetables to one side of sheet. Spread into a single layer on their side. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.Place meatballs on now-empty side of sheet. -
Roast the Vegetables and Meatballs
Roast in hot oven until vegetables are tender and meatballs reach a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
Carefully remove sheet from oven. Stir softened butter into vegetables. Sheet will be hot! Use a utensil.While vegetables and meatballs roast, continue recipe. -
Make Sauce and Finish Dish
Place bacon in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave uncovered until crispy, 30-60 seconds.
Carefully remove from microwave. Stir in BBQ sauce until combined. Bowl will be hot! Use a utensil.Microwave again uncovered until heated through, 30-60 seconds.Carefully remove from microwave.Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping meatballs with sauce. Bon appétit!
