Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |

- Chicken 165° F |

- Ground Turkey 165° F |

Customize It Instructions

If using diced chicken breasts, pat dry. Stir occasionally until chicken reaches minimum internal temperature, 5-7 minutes.

If using ground beef, break up until beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

Prepare the Ingredients
Stem mushrooms and cut caps into 1/4” slices.
Trim and thinly slice green onions on an angle, keeping white and green portions separate.Peel and mince shallot.Thinly slice garlic. -
Cook the Vegetables
Place a large pot over medium heat and add 1 Tbsp. olive oil.
Add shallots, mushrooms, white portions of green onions, garlic, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper to hot pot.Stir occasionally until translucent, 4-6 minutes. -
Cook the Ground Turkey
Add ground turkey and umami seasoning to hot pot.
Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes. -
Add the Broth
Add flour to hot pot and stir until no dry flour remains. Add 2 cups water, cream base, and cream cheese. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
Once simmering, reduce heat to low and stir occasionally, 10 minutes.Remove from burner. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing soup with croutons and green portions of green onions. Bon appétit!
