Cooking Guidelines

If using 20 oz. ground turkey, follow same instructions as 10 oz. ground turkey, working in batches if necessary.

If using ground beef, follow same instructions as ground turkey in Step 2, breaking up beef until no pink remains and beef reaches minimum internal temperature, 4-6 minutes.

If using Impossible burger, follow same instructions as ground turkey in Step 2, breaking up until burger is heated through, 4-6 minutes.

1 Prepare the Ingredients
Separate leaves of lettuce for cups.
Stem and coarsely chop cilantro.Halve and peel onion. Cut halves into 1/4" slices.Mince garlic.Stem poblano pepper, seed, and cut into 1/4" slices. Poblano peppers can vary in spice level; most are mild, but a few can be quite hot. Wash hands and cutting board after prepping. -
2 Cook the Ground Turkey
Heat 2 tsp. olive oil in a medium non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Add ground turkey to hot pan. Break up meat until no pink remains and turkey reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 7-9 minutes.
Add 1/4 tsp. salt, half the seasoning blend (to taste; reserve remaining for vegetables), jerk sauce, jalapeño jelly (to taste), and half the cilantro (reserve remaining for garnish). Stir occasionally until combined and heated through, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner,While turkey cooks, cook vegetables. -
3 Cook the Vegetables
Place another medium non-stick pan over medium heat and add 1 tsp. olive oil.
Add onion and poblano to hot pan. Stir occasionally until tender and lightly browned, 5-8 minutes.Stir in garlic, remaining seasoning blend, and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cook until garlic is fragrant, 1-2 minutes.If vegetables need more time, add 1 Tbsp. water and continue cooking, 2-3 minutes.Remove from burner. -
4 Make Sauce and Assemble Cups
In a mixing bowl, combine crème fraîche, 2 tsp. water, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
Place a lettuce cup on a clean work surface (or layer two lettuce cups for extra crunch and structural support). Fill cups with a few spoonfuls of ground turkey and top with vegetables.Repeat for about five to six more lettuce cups. -
5 Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, garnishing cups with crème fraîche mixture and remaining cilantro. Bon appétit!
