Before You Cook
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:

Prepare the Ingredients
Break noodles into large chunks.
Mince parsley, leaves and stems.Stem, seed, remove ribs, and cut red bell peppers into 1/2" wide strips.Halve and peel onion. Slice halves into thin strips.Combine ricotta, parsley, 1/3 the cheese (reserve remaining for topping), 2 tsp. olive oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper in a mixing bowl.Remove Italian sausage from casing. -
Start the Meal
Place slow cooker liner in slow cooker, if desired. If using an electric pressure cooker, fold edges on top in before putting on lid.
Combine red bell peppers, onion, demi-glace, marinara, Italian sausage, 1/4 tsp. salt, and a pinch of pepper in a slow cooker.Turn slow cooker on to high heat. Cover, and cook until sausage reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160 degrees, 4 hours. -
Cook the Noodles
After 3 1/2 hours, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Once water is boiling, add noodles and cook until al dente, 7-9 minutes.
Drain noodles in a colander. Set aside.When 10 minutes are left to cook, stir noodles into slow cooker. -
Finish the Dish
Plate dish as pictured on front of card, topping lasagna with remaining cheese and ricotta mixture. Bon appétit!
