Recipe Steps
Cooking Guidelines
To ensure food safety, the FDA recommends the following as minimum internal cooking temperatures:
- Steak and Pork 145° F (rest cooked meat, 3 minutes) |
- Seafood 145° F |
- Chicken 165° F |
- Ground Beef 160° F |
- Ground Turkey 165° F |
- Ground Pork 160° F

Prepare the Ingredients
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Remove lid and label, if needed. When ingredient appears in recipe, remove from packaging. Throughly rinse fresh produce and pat dry.
Mix rice (breaking up any clumps), 1 tsp. olive oil, pineapple, and pepper and onion mix in provided tray until completely combined. Spread into a single layer. -
Add the Shrimp
Place shrimp evenly on rice. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
If using jumbo shrimp, 16 oz shrimp or diced chicken, follow same instructions. -
Finish the Dish
Bake uncovered in hot oven until pepper and onion mix is tender and shrimp reaches a minimum internal temperature of 145 degrees, 15-20 minutes.
If using jumbo shrimp or 16 oz shrimp, follow same instructions. If using chicken, bake uncovered in hot oven until chicken reaches a minimum internal temperature of 165 degrees, 23-25 minutes.Carefully remove from oven. Drizzle with teriyaki glaze and top with coconut and peanuts. Bon appétit!
